A long day of mostly sitting with a little feverish boy on my lap - reading books and watching movies.... I was able to do some of my French lessons and to get our trip to Italy planned and very well organized. Now we just have to get Max well enough that we can go and enjoy ourselves!
Couple of funny little things.... Calvin had a swimming test in gym class yesterday and in a country where the public bathrooms are basically open air affairs and where women are topless on all beaches.... the 3rd graders all had to wear t-shirts while swimming to cover their chests!
On the way home from picking Calvin up from school today, we had to wait behind a tour bus that was dropping off tourists downtown. Calvin wanted to know why a tour bus was in town, "what is so interesting to see in Vannes?"! How quickly we become complacent with our surroundings!
