Prayers Needed

This morning we got a phone call telling us that Josh's dad had fallen and suffered a head injury. He is now in the ICU in Lafayette. We are taking turns sitting with him. Any prayers would be appreciated.

Josh and Heidi, I've known Josh's mom and dad since college days in Fort Wayne, and I feel as if I know you and your family through your wonderful blog. Needless to say, I'm very concerned about what happened and how Dennis is doing. He hasn't been terribly communicative, understandably, as he's been going through dealing with the cancer and its treatment. If you have time and could call me, I'd appreciate it. If not, don't worry about it. My home number is 573-474-6692 and my cell is 573-489-2386. I'd call you, but I don't have your numbers, only Dennis' home and cell, though I could try you there. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I am especially glad you are stateside just now because I know how much you all mean to Dennis.

Are prayers will be with you andJosh. I'm so glad you and Josh can be there with him. Just keep focused on God's words Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

I hope your dad/grampa is ok guys! I'll be sure to add you guys to mine and my church's prayer chain. But if you ever get a chance, look up the verses Matthew 6:25-34. God will take care of you and Dennis. God Bless and hope everything goes well.
