Joyeux Noël!

We had a wonderful day today, celebrating as if it were Christmas day! Max woke us all up early so that the kids could open their gifts from us and from each other. Everyone was absolutely thrilled to see the Wii that Josh and I had bought for the family. The kids have just been dying for one! Only afterwards did we find out that American Wii games will not play on our French Wii console! Ughhh! Nothing is ever easy when you divide yourself across two continents. Oh well, we certainly know where to buy games here and Ebay sells games everywhere for every console... After a big breakfast of homemade cinnamon rolls, everyone kept busy for most of the day with playing with their new toys, reading some new books, taking turns on the Wii and trying out the two new board games that we bought. The kids also decorated some cookies and Taba baked a cake in the shape of a Christmas tree before they headed out to a local afternoon Christmas party at the sports center nearby. We had a big dinner of beef wellington, vegetables and cake. Now, four, very excited, but worn out kids are going to bed!
