So handy...

I came home from work this afternoon to discover that the trucks hadn't come by yet to pick up the leaves off the streets and our yard desperately needed raking. So... I gathered the kids together and between the 5 of us, we had the whole yard raked in less than 30 minutes. It's great when they are big enough to start pulling their weight!
Calvin started basketball tonight. We have never let him play before but we have decided to work under the assumption that he can't get hurt in this 2nd grade league and he will then get it out of his system. We'll see if that works or not... Anyway, he loved it and was thrilled! He also just finished reading "Robin Hood" and has now started "Sherlock Holmes". He is so grown up!
