Whew, we were all about sports this weekend and it was a busy one! Quincy had the beginning of a huge swim meet on Friday night. He had to swim a 200 IM and a 500 free style. He did a great job considering he has never swam those long distances competitively before. Josh got home from DC late Friday night and we then hit the ground running Saturday morning. Calvin had a basketball game first thing followed by ice skating lessons for him and Tabitha. Max had registration for spring soccer, he is our only kid interested in playing soccer this season. Quincy then spent an afternoon in the pool at the 2nd part of his swim meet. Again, doing a great job despite the huge numbers of kids and skill levels that were competing. This morning was church and CCD followed by more swim meet for Quincy and tennis lessons for Calvin and Tabitha. Today, Quincy got a 1st place in the 50 yard butterfly so he was pretty thrilled. After the meet, we all went out for ice cream with grandma and her friend, Dick, and with grandpa to celebrate. Quincy had to dash off because he was anxious to get home and watch the Bears game with a friend from down the street. He's a busy dude!
