Our boys are determined to play in the snow even though we seem to not be able to get more than a constant light dusting. They are so anxious to go sledding that they just keep trying. Today, Max and Calvin had to play outside because it was finally above 20 degrees. (That is the school's cut off temp as to whether they have inside or outside recess.) This weekend is supposed to get really, really cold (-9) so we all enjoyed our rather "balmy" day today. Yesterday, Calvin had a great day! He was totally spoiled. His school actually allows an "open campus" for lunch so parents are able to take their children out for lunch. We have never done this but the mother of a friend of Calvin's was going to take her son and asked if Calvin and I wanted to go along too - so we did. We hit the Pizza Hut buffet for lunch and had a great time with our boys. After school, Grandpa decided to pick up Max and Calvin and took them out for ice cream and for some play time with his pet cat. Very fun!
