We sure had a great day yesterday. The kids played in the snow for hours, building forts, igloos and caves and having snowball fights with the neighbors. At one point, we had about 10 kids in our yard running around and just having a great time! Josh and I were still able to get out for a quick Valentine's dinner at a local sushi place. Not quite the evening out that we had planned however since the Cajun restaurant that we had hoped to go to was closed because of the snow. This morning was a little bit of back to reality with the kids returning to school after a 2 hour delay. They couldn't get home fast enough however after school to put back on all their cold weather gear and get back out there to play. Today is much colder but they still enjoyed themselves immensely and gathered as many neighbor kids as they could find for some more fun. Tonight, the temps are supposed to drop into the below zero teens so they will have another 2 hour delay for school. Maybe next week, we can all return to normal and some warmer weather!
