Today is my mom's birthday and we want to let her know that we are all thinking about her today! Hope you're having a good one, mom!
Tonight, my big kids are all grown up again! Quincy is gritting his teeth and bearing the fact that his father is chaperoning at the 6th grade movie/dance night at school. We'll see how that goes....
Tabitha just took off for a "lock-in" at the YWCA with other 5th and 6th grade girls. They are there through the night with movies, baton twirling, dancing, swimming, etc. She is very, very excited. I love the fact that she is independent enough to want to these things on her own without a gaggle of her girlfriends along but... I sometimes I wish she would go to things like this with a gaggle of friends so I would know that someone else is looking out for her.
