"Home" Again!

I'm not sure what exactly to call home these days since our house is sold and the rooms are empty.... but for this week, our Lafayette home will still be "home". We left last Saturday for my parents' house. After spending the night there, I took off with my parents and sister for a long, heartbreaking, and emotional trip to Rhode Island to attend my uncle's funeral. He was the 10th child in a family of 13 very close siblings and will be sorely missed. We did find out that he was quite "famous" in his own right as a columnist for the Providence Journal. It was wonderful to see the outpouring of affection from his many, many readers. After driving back to Ohio on Wednesday night, Josh and I and the kids headed down to Batesville with the kids on Thursday morning. We then spent the next two days having a great time with old friends, making our rounds and saying our good-byes. The kids had a ball! We collected many email addresses so we can keep in touch over the next 3 years. We are now back home to finish our sorting and packing before the next round of movers come on Monday morning.
