We're doing it!!! Trying to pull off a move within a foreign country!! Should be interesting... thanks to Hill-Rom, we will have our relocation company working with us to pull off the details as well as now having many friends offering to help. We are not looking forward to the move at all, however, although I think we will like the new house very well. Here are a few pictures of it, I don't have any interior pictures yet because it is still occupied. We will take possession on Jan. 15 barring any unforeseen problems. The house has 4 bedrooms with 1 1/2 baths plus a large guest room and full bath in the basement with it's own entrance/exit! It also has a large garage, work room, very big backyard and a big back porch overlooking the backyard. It's a little smaller than our current house (1500 sq ft was just getting to be too much to handle). Amazing how quickly your perspective can change! Anyway, we love the location! Josh and I went out to eat our all time favorite creperie in the city center of Vannes last night and then walked to the new house just to see how close it truly was - only took us 15 minutes to walk. Pretty cool!
I didn't spend one minute at home yesterday... we signed the papers to get the ball rolling on this house in the morning, I then joined a friend for coffee - she had gone to the agency office with us for the paperwork to help translate. After coffee, I did a little Christmas shopping in town. I then met 4 friends for lunch on the port. One woman in our group is an American from Pittsburgh who was here for 2 weeks with her high school French class - she takes a group of seniors each year to France to live with families and experience the French way of life. It was very fun to talk to her. She told me repeatedly that we are living her dream! That was nice to hear. After lunch, I was invited to a scrapbooking group! Turns out that they were hoping for some valuable American insights on Scrapbooking as apparently, we are in the inventors of it.... I have never scrap booked in my life but it was fun to hang out with them. Maybe I should put together a scrap book of our lives in France....

Oh, I could tell them all about scrapbooking- at least according to Rich! Be sure to tell them we have huge stores devoted to it.
