We have decided that we really want to move into this other house that we looked at the other night so we are very anxious to move quickly on it as we have been told over and over that a rental house for that price in that area will not last long. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of Hill-Rom because they set up the leases for us. You all know how the Shenks like to make decisions and then run with them - well, of course, a big corporation like Hill-Rom doesn't work that way so we are still waiting for final approval (even though the rent on the new house is less than this one and it would be a net gain for HR). As soon as we get that approval, we plan to head to the rental agency and sign the lease. Pretty exciting! I was in my car for 75 minutes straight today just picking up the kids from school - I will be thrilled when we are close enough to walk! Today was rainy all day long so it was pretty "yucky" even though the high temperature was 52 and the low was only 50. Tabitha took her carrot cake to school today and said that only a few kids didn't like it. She was quite pleased. I was disappointed as I was hoping for some leftovers! Taba was also quite proud of the fact that she answered some questions out loud in French in Math class today! Hurray!! In my French class today, I finally learned how to say some things in the past tense!! Whew!! Speaking in the present all the time is not easy! Max read aloud to me from his French reader today - he doesn't understand all the words but he certainly has the pronounciation!! Oh.... the picture from yesterday was "file photo" from our trip to Rennes a couple of weeks ago (as is today's). Some days I just don't get any pictures taken!!
