Family Time

Each day seems to get better as we get more settled in and more problems solved. Calvin had friends over to play by 9 a.m. this morning as his friends live right in the neighborhood.

While they played a rousing game of Tripoly, we dropped Quincy off at the library to finish some articles for his summer reading assignment that is due on Tuesday. Josh and I again got some more unpacking done and although we are finding a fair amount of damaged items, we are holding up pretty well. After lunch, we all jumped in the car and headed out to do some car shopping. I think we have found the brand new Ford Flex that I want, so hopefully the dealer can get his hands on it quickly and we can shed the rental car that I am currently driving.

We were thrilled to pick up a couple dozen ears of fresh sweet corn from a local farmer before heading over to Cincinnati to have dinner with my brother, his kids, and his girlfriend. We enjoyed a delicious cook out of traditional American summer foods and some great company!
