I was a little remiss in describing our weekend since our visit to Batesville was not the only thing that went on. Calvin is busy preparing for his First Communion (which will take place in May) so he and Josh attended a retreat on Saturday morning. Calvin is really starting to get excited about this very important event. Also on Saturday morning, Quincy attended the final class of his engineering class at Purdue. He had to present on a project that he had done about whether beam bridges or suspension bridges can support more weight. Although he looked the most disheveled and had the least number of props of all the kids presenting (he's too cool for all of that, you know - the other kids were apparently much less concerned about being cool), he did a great job and really appeared to know his stuff. Tonight, Quincy is auditioning for Godspell Jr. at the local Civic Theater! He has prepared a monologue and (God forbid) a short song! I'll let you know how this goes. He may be in over his head! Calvin is continuing to attend art classes after school - here is one of his latest pictures.
