Not Going Well.....

Things have started to deteriorate on us and our moods are going rapidly down hill... Whew! Since this if our 5th professional move, I think we can safely say that we know what to expect with movers but this crew is terrible! They showed up late yesterday and today. Yesterday, they showed up with only 2 guys and spent the day complaining about needing more guys but working at a snails pace. They then knocked off at about 3:30. They came today with a crew of 4 but amazingly, the 4 guys seem to work even more slowly than the 2 did yesterday! It is now after lunch and they are so far from being finished, it's not even funny. In the meantime, we struggle with keeping the kids occupied and fed and with keeping our tempers in check. Not pretty. We are having a hard time believing that the things to be shipped by air will not accidentally end up in our storage unit here and vice versa! We also discovered yesterday that Josh had accidentally sent the title to his car with the boat shipped items not to be seen again for about 8 weeks! Going to be difficult to sell his car without that! We inadvertently discovered that rather than forwarding our mail, the post office was under the impression that they were to be holding our mail! Not sure that is going to work for the next 3 years! It's all a mess and we are worn out. We did have a break last night though by checking into a hotel with a waterpark and allowing the kids to spend hours in the water. They all had a great time and I got more of my Harry Potter read. We also had dinner with our great friends last night and everyone had a ball. Going to be hard to say good-bye to the Banfields! This morning, the kids and I spent some more time at the waterpark while Josh oversaw the snail's pace here. We'll keep on plugging away....
