Jacques-Eloi came over for lunch today. He is the 7 year old son of my friend, Sabine. He is in Max's class and a great friend. All of my kids come home for lunch on Tuesdays so we invited Jacques-Eloi to join us. We had a great time! He told me quite bravely in French that I could speak French or English to him. He doesn't understand anything in English so I found this very funny. He also finds my French very amusing and is not afraid to point out the mistakes that I make. We all enjoyed his company and I loved hearing all of my kids speak only French during the meal. We baked chocolate chip cookies for dessert so JE was in Heaven. He just adores them! After lunch, the boys played out in the yard until it was time to head back to school. We should have lunch company more often!
Josh took off for 3 days in Germany today. He is heading to Dusseldorf for some hospital bed expo. We miss him already!
Coco has a new toy from Grandma. She just loves it and carries this pink pig with her everywhere now! Very cute!
