Most of you know that I am a very fast typist so I can always easily communicate via computer.... However.... On this trip, we only brought along Josh`s French laptop... This is driving me crazy! The keyboard is so different! You have to shift to use numbers... shift to type a period... the a and q are in different places, the m and ? have switched places and I never have discovered how to make an apostrophe. Ughhhh! So, this will be short, I can only hunt and peck for so long.
We are having a very nice visit to our usual Indiana haunts. We have all spent quality time with friends and family and have been greatly enjoying the gorgeous Indian summer weather. We are enjoying the ease at which we can do everything here. It`s amazing how quickly and easily you can accomplish any task with a complete grasp of the language. Even though we now feel very comfortable in France, the added stress that we live with daily is clearly illustrated when it is removed by returning to our home country. Those ancestors of ours who immigrated to the U.S. however many years ago should certainly be admired for their incredible courage and perseverance.
Now, get out there and vote and let`s see how this historic election turns out!
