Cheese, Cheese, and More Cheese

Today was another gorgeous day. Started out wet and windy but cleared up and became beautiful with highs in the mid-50's. Our day was chock full of activities including horse back riding lessons, basketball games, Confirmation classes, and errands. Josh got the cracked windshield in his car fixed, quickly, painlessly and completely covered by insurance - can't beat that. He also did the week's grocery shopping today since I am still not up to carrying all of the groceries up the stairs to our house if I go shopping on my own. One day, my friend was devastated to discover that she had neglected to pick up cheese for her dinner party that evening. She said that all they had at home was Camembert and Roquefort and that was not nearly adequate for a dinner party. When I asked if it was possible to just skip the cheese course, she looked at me as though I had sprouted an extra head!

Anyway, today, I am including pictures of the cheese aisles that are in every grocery store in France. Buying cheese is a major undertaking as the varieties and choices are virtually endless!
