Springtime?

Today was pretty mundane. Tabitha was home sick from school. She seems to have a little stomach bug that people have said is going around. So, other than a quick visit with a friend of mine and a short walk, I hung out at home. The boys all came home for lunch and we enjoyed the warm and sunny walk back to school after lunch. While walking around our backyard, I noticed that some flowers are starting to bloom! Pretty exciting to see such bright colors in January.

This is in direct contrast to all of the emails that I have received from friends back in the midwest, complaining of snow and cold. I had to include this picture of our friend, Macy that I received today from Indiana. I think you can tell what she thinks of the snow!

We are spending a lot of time these days helping Josh's dad to get settled. He has had another downturn and is now residing in a nursing home. He is ready to initiate Hospice. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers as he struggles with severe pain.

Sorry to hear about Josh's Dad. I'll keep him in my prayers. Your flowers give me hope that spring will eventually come to Indiana, too. And what a cute snowsuit model!
