Many Things to Think About...

One of our special little treats to indulge in, is to walk down to our local boulangerie and pick up sandwiches and little tarts for lunch. These sandwiches are just a few thin slices of meat and cheese on a baguette but taste so good. It is really the French version of fast food. This is what you will see the few people who do eat on the run, munching on as they walk down the street. Most of the sandwiches involve loads of butter on the bread in addition to the meat and cheese, and may or may not include mayonnaise as well. We laugh because our favorite version is the "American" style which includes lettuce and tomato, no butter, and thinly sliced hard-boiled eggs. I don't know why they deem this "American" but it is good.

Today was a warm day again but off and on rainy all day. We did manage to get in a walk between rain showers this afternoon while the kids enjoyed playing outside.
We spent most of the day debating a big decision... I don't know if I have officially stated this yet or not, but we will be moving back to the States in August. Hill-Rom hinted at bringing Josh back a year earlier than originally planned and we initially balked at this. The more we considered it, however, the more sense it made to us, for a number of reasons. Not the least of which is that Quincy will be able to start high school in Batesville with his class. We ALL have very mixed feelings about this and will really hate to leave our lives here but...
Anyway, so we have been on the house hunt in Batesville. Yesterday, my parents and sister and brother-in-law were kind enough to drive down to Batesville and go through three houses for us. One seems to be a very, very good deal and although it needs lots of cosmetic work, could be THE house for us. I am including a picture of the house that I have always called the "ugly" house. Hopefully, it will turn out to be our little diamond in the rough. I'll keep you posted...

It doesn't look ugly to me. But then, I haven't seen the inside. Good luck with your big decision.
