Happy New Year!

Hopefully everyone had a safe and happy New Year's Eve. We had a wonderful evening! We were supposed to join some friends for a night of fun and dinner at their house but when all of their kids woke up sick yesterday morning, we opted out. We instead drove to Ft. Wayne after having lunch with Josh's dad and left our kids with Josh's mom for the night. Josh and I then went to the only 5 star restaurant in the Fort Wayne area and had a wonderfully delicious meal. The power went out in the restaurant about half way through, but the staff continued to provide service without pause and the food continued to be served. After ringing in the New Year, Josh and I stayed at a local hotel and had a long, leisurely morning. Today was full of shopping and movie going. A very, very nice way to start off the New Year.
