Science of Spaghetti

Today was the biggest night of our Catholic Schools Week. I spent the afternoon at school, doling out desserts, opening cans of applesauce and dishing up spaghetti in preparation for the school serving hundreds of families tonight at the spaghetti supper.

After the kids got home from school, Quincy got off to his swim meet, and the grandparents arrived, we enjoyed the spaghetti supper followed by a stroll through all of the science fair projects.

Calvin and Tabitha each did a good job on their projects and although they did not win any trophies, they came home happy.


I just had to include this picture of Coco in our kitchen. She waits by the window starting at 3:20 for the kids to come home from school. After the kids arrive, she settles down for awhile until about 5:20 when she begins staring out the window and waiting for Josh to arrive home. Today, with all of the commotion of my parents arriving and Josh's mom being here, she had all kinds of people to watch and wait for. Very exciting.
Quincy got a personal best in his swim meet tonight. Beating his previous IM time by 11 seconds. Great job, Q!
