Despite the fact that we live in Indiana and are only one hour from Indianapolis, we have to all admit that we were very happy to see the Saints win the Superbowl tonight! We just can't shake that New Orleans connection that we have felt for years!
Quincy had to work at the athletic department fundraiser breakfast this morning starting at 6 a.m. so we have had a long day... Josh then took off for Mexico this afternoon to work in a warmer climate for a few days (Oh, he claims that there is so other urgent reason that he needs to be in Mexico but I think those warm temperatures were just calling his name) so the kids and I were on our own for the Superbowl. Calvin went to a friend's house to spend the night, Tabitha went to a friend's house for a party, Quincy went to a friend's house for a different party, and Max and I went together to yet another friend's house for another party. We all had a great time and after making the rounds to pick everyone back up, we are all now home and ready for bed. Quincy has school tomorrow but the rest of us can just relax...
