Such Fun!

I am having such a great time, introducing Sabine to our American ways and our American things... It is so fun to see things from her perspective. She is a wonderful foreign guest because she is not afraid to ask questions, admit ignorance or try anything new. It's fantastic! We have explored Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and Batesville. Today, we just spent the day at the country club pool with the kids. I was able to introduce Sabine to many of my local friends and she loved them all. We then came home and heading out on the lake with the kayaks. Sabine had never kayaked before but quickly got the hang of it and loved it. We had gorgeous weather and a wonderful time!
This evening, our family attended an orientation meeting about our incoming Chinese exchange student. We are all getting quite excited and looking forward to Leo's arrival on August 7!
Max was able to swim with the swim team today in practice. He enjoyed it and I loved the use of his excess energy. He may even swim in the meet on Monday evening!
