A Foggy Day....

We woke up today to dense fog and a light rain! It didn't begin to clear up until almost 2 this afternoon! I went on my Monday morning biking group in the fog. We had a great time and rode a solid 25 km but didn't get to see the beautiful sea views like last week because of the fog. The kids thought it was all pretty cool. Again, we are noticing the kids' improvement with the French language - Quincy has been "reading" French out loud with his teacher while the other kids in class take French grammar tests and he observed today that so many words are really the same as in English, they are just pronounced differently. As soon as he noticed that, he felt like he could better understand what people were saying because he could now picture the word in his head and figure out what it meant.
I can't find corn in France!! Actually that's not true, we see it in the farmers' fields and I can find canned corn in the stores but there is no fresh or frozen corn! I asked some friends about that and they said that corn is really more for animals and not eaten much here! Yikes! How is an Indiana family supposed to deal with that!?
Beautiful sunset last night at our house.....
Here are Tabitha's school pictures....
