Leaving St. Petersburg

We are sailing through the Gulf of Finland as I speak and leaving the port of St. Petersburg. We really enjoyed our time in Russia and are still pinching ourselves that we were actually there! We took another canal cruise today but this time in beautiful sunny but cool weather. We got some beautiful pictures without the overcast skies of yesterday. Fantastic to see the sun glinting off of all of those golden domes in St. Petersburg. We also took a tour of the Yussopov Palace this morning. An amazing place that was lost to the family that owned it after they conspired and succeeded in killing Rasputin. We will now just cruise through the seas for the next couple of days until we reach Denmark on Thursday. We are truly having a great time! Good food, lots of relaxation, and just plain family time...
