Josh left late yesterday afternoon for a couple of days working in Denver. I was then on my own to juggle the kids to their sporting events and to attend three Christmas parties. I pulled most of it off although Quincy didn't get to go into Cincinnati to play laser tag with friends and I could only manage two of the three Christmas parties. I was just too tired after that. I had a great time though and really enjoyed the party for my fellow staff members at work. It is always nice to get to know co-workers' spouses. When the temperature dropped and the rain turned to snow last night, we knew that we were going to be in some trouble. By this afternoon, the snow started piling up on the roads and making driving a bit tricky.

The high schoolers had their Christmas concert this afternoon so we headed out in the snow and enjoyed watching the show.

Leo is in the concert choir, the sophomore chorus and the orchestra so he was the busiest of our bunch.

Quincy is in the experimental music group while Tabitha sang with the freshman chorus.

By the time we came out of the auditorium 2 hours later, the snow was really heavy and the roads were treacherous. I was more than happy to get home and settled in for the evening after Calvin's tennis lesson. We have already received notice that school is delayed for 90 minutes tomorrow, the kids are still holding out hope that this delay turns into a cancellation.
