We have had a wonderfully, lazy day of hanging out at home and enjoying the incredibly warm temperatures! It was at least 64 degrees this afternoon so we opened the windows and let in some fresh air. The kids rode their new bikes, took Coco for a walk, and played some basketball in the driveway. Almost all of the snow has completed melted and the layer of ice on the lake has diminished significantly. Josh took the opportunity today to put a real door on our bedroom! We have had just these two half doors that don't really close and yet make a big noise when they do. I don't know what the builders were thinking with that one but we now have a nice, regular door!
It's now time to get ready to go out for the evening. Our good friends are bringing their four girls over from Indianapolis so that the adults can go out to eat and celebrate while the 9 kids have a "party" of their own at our house. Looking forward to it!!
