No one was happier than me today to hear that school was cancelled and the kids could settle in for their first snow day of the year! We had so much going on today that I really didn't quite have it all figured out as to how to pull it all off. I was supposed to drive the kids to school (two separate schools but too many kids to take in one car load), get to work by 8, work for 4 hours, go to Calvin's Christmas band concert, pick up Quincy and take him to Cincinnati for an audition, get Tabitha and Leo to two separate basketball games and get Quincy to his swim meet! Believe me, when I found out that school was cancelled, I was dancing a jig!! That meant that most of my patients cancelled and I only needed to get Quincy to his audition. Hurray!! No problem at all!

So, instead of the crazy, hectic day that I was anticipating, we had a great day! The kids played outside with friends for a large part of the day, Max and Calvin then played at friends' houses, Tabitha went sledding, Quincy and I not only went to his audition but we finished his Christmas shopping while we were out and Tabitha finished up the cookie baking and started to fill our "signature" boxes to give to friends, neighbors and teachers as our holiday gift.

Hurray! Feeling good and the snow is still coming down.... Not bad now though, just pretty...
