Snowing and Sledding

We took great advantage of this day off and packed in all sorts of fun!

We woke up to yet another inch or two of snow (just after I finally got our driveway and sidewalks completely cleared yesterday afternoon) so we ran around in some slush while running our errands. The boys then headed outside with Leo to play in the snow.

Leo was eager to build a snowman but really didn't seem to know what he was doing. Max and Calvin stepped in to help but quickly got side-tracked by a big snowball fight with Leo and then they all just built an igloo together.

After lunch, it was time to head to the theater to see "Yogi Bear". Everyone thought it was hilarious and great fun but they were ready to hit the snow again when we got home. This time, it was off to the "big" hill behind the hospital. Leo had to go to his basketball game and Tabitha had basketball practice but Quincy, Calvin and Max sledded for hours and had a ball. I have spent a large part of the day stock-piling food in preparation for when Josh and I take off for Vegas on Saturday and leave the six kids with Grandma in charge. (Love that Grandma!)
