Now that we are finally in our house, it seems like we are really living here... in France... can you believe it? I'm not sure that I can at times. Anyway, today was another tiring day of unpacking and setting up the house. The kids didn't have school today (it's Wednesday after all) so they were thrilled to help out and unpack their rooms. The movers were finished by about 11, which unfortunately meant that we missed Max's soccer practice but gave us lots of time to set things up. The kids all have their rooms unpacked and Taba and the little boys even have pictures hanging on their walls. Quincy has his room all unpacked and his drum set up. He played for about an hour today and we didn't get any neighbor complaints so I guess we're okay. I unpacked the rest of the stuff with help at times from various kids. They were so excited to see and have their toys again, I didn't have the heart to interupt them too much. We still have much to do but things are now very liveable. I even got our wireless modem hooked up and installed without being able to read one word of the installation instructions! Not bad, eh? We took a break long enough from the house to get some groceries, we now finally have a kitchen that we can cook in and a freezer! Fun times! We also took Calvin to his first basketball practice. He really did a great job and played hard. The coach was a little frazzled that he didn't speak any French but they communicated just fine. Here are a few pictures of the house. Josh enjoying a glass of wine in the kitchen... our family room.... our eating area.... and our room that we have turned in to a big family closet because the house has no closets. So far so good!!!

How wonderful you must feel now with your OWN stuff... That's great... Feeling "home" oversea is not so common !
It looks so nice! Must really feel like home now. It will be good to settle into a routine, huh?
