As we were eating our pasta for dinner tonight, we all noticed how we just aren't cutting it when it comes to duplicating the awesome Italian food that we ate all last week on our cruise. Wow! We really ate some amazing things. I was impressed at some of the things that all of the kids were willing to try.... quail, octopus, rabbit, salmon roe, etc. Delicious!! Dressing for dinner each night, eating 7 courses, enjoying Italian wines, and even dancing to "That's Amore" with our waiter one night. Now, that's living!
Can you tell that we are having a hard time getting back to reality? The boys and I did go out and buy all of their school supplies and they packed their backpacks, so we are ready for that to begin next week. Tabitha and I also walked over to the dog groomer and the boulangerie today. Of course, both were closed as it's still August and the whole country is still on vacation - but at least we tried!
