Bonne Chance Max and Calvin!

Today, we will wish Max and Calvin good luck in French but we will give them a Turkish Blue Glass Nazar Boncugu or an "evil eye bead" to allow them only the best of luck as they start their new school year tomorrow.
As you may remember, they are starting at a new school this year that is much, much closer to our home. We are looking forward to having only a 5 minute walk instead of a 20 minute drive but they are both a bit nervous about not knowing many people. They have each met a couple of kids in their classes so I'm quite sure that they will manage just fine. Good luck!!
Today was gorgeous and sunny in the morning, perfect weather for another 7 mile run with my friend, Sabine. However, it progressively got cooler and cloudier all day and by the afternoon (it's now only about 60 degrees and very breezy), rather than take our planned trip to the beach, we snuggled into some sweatshirts and watched a movie together. We then enjoyed shark for dinner! A fun final day of the summer although not quite what we had planned.
Quincy and Tabitha will begin school on Wednesday while Max and Calvin enjoy their first day off of the year!
