We had another cold and rainy day today. This is getting a bit old! I don't think it's been above 19 degrees Celsius all week (that's about 66 to you and I.....) Apparently, it was like this for most of the summer. Everyone is complaining that there was no real summer this year. That's pretty hard on all the sailing folks and all of the people who travel here for some beach time!
This morning, we were all able to sleep in and enjoy Quincy's omelets quite leisurely thanks to the French president, Sarkosy! If you remember, last school year, our little guys had school most Saturday mornings. Well, Sarkosy actually changed that law and now no one has school on Saturdays! We are thrilled to have our weekends back and hope to be able to enjoy some more weekend travel jaunts this year.
The kids all had a great day with friends invited over and birthday parties to attend. Nice day despite the rain....

I hope they're not going to have all those Wednesdays off then. They don't seem to go to school much. Grandma
