After all of the big activities yesterday, we were ready for a day of relaxation today. Josh and I did have to rouse ourselves by the middle of the afternoon however so that we could hit the biannual Food and Wine Expo down by the port. It was packed with winery booths, cheese and sausage booths, and more people than we could count.

We tasted as many wines and champagnes as we possibly could before making some purchases in bulk to stock our wine cellar. We took careful note of the wines that we were advised to allow to age for a few more years before consuming. We have a hard time being patient but we will try.

It was such a gorgeous, albeit windy, day that we decided to go for a long walk along the gulf before heading home to the kids.

The views were beautiful as usual and the trails were full of people with the same idea. Sundays are really the day for families in France and one of the most common Sunday activities seems to be going for a long walk after a big lunch.
