It's Got to be on the Right

A typical Breton style house...

As I was loading groceries into my car, I realized how adapted I have become to the French way of driving. I always load large items and things that I don't want to fall over and spill into the right side of my trunk. This ensures that they stay put because most intersections are round-a-bouts. When you are always merging gently to the right and turning slightly to the left, things on the right side of the car, stay on the right side of the car. I love round-a-bouts. They just make sense and they keep the traffic flowing. When I have to come to a complete stop while running an errand, I'm always a little annoyed.
Tabitha's age group had a swim meet in Auray today. I was unable to attend because I needed to run all the boys to their various activities today but the mother of Taba's friend took some pictures and passed them on to me. Taba won two medals, one for breast stroke and one for free style in relays.

Max went to the birthday party of one of his friends from his old school today. He was the hit of the party. All of his old buddies were there and so happy to see him. They all tried to speak some English to him which he found very amusing because most of his friends at his new school do not even know that he speaks English! I was able to see a lot of my mom friends that I haven't seen since last school year today, also. It was great to catch up and to feel so welcome!
