The stupid expression on my face, the weak smile, and the pathetic attempt to find a conversation, any conversation that I can follow in French shows you what it is like to be in a large group of people who don't speak your language....

Today, was much better. Today, we met with a large group of people again but this was our English speaking group. This was where 8-10 French people get together with a few native English speakers to work on their English. It is much more fun to be an active participant in a conversation than to be just an observer. I had to laugh today though when all of the women were speaking at once again and the British man in the group told them that that is a very typical French thing to do. And, here, I never knew that my family was French!
