So, after finishing up my work today, it was actually 80 degrees and sunny so I had to get outside. My friend Sabine and I went for a long walk along the gulf. The tide was high and with the sun shining, it was gorgeous! Unfortunately, I forgot my camera. Our walk actually turned out to be too long and we miscalculated when we needed to turn around to get home in time to pick the kids up from school. We ended up nearly running at the end and were still a bit late.
We now have such a short time left in France so of course, this is exactly when things are starting to fall apart.... Today, my cell phone broke, our front gate (that keeps Coco in) will no longer stay latched, and someone put a new ding in my car door while I was at the grocery store!
I will post some more pictures from our weekend trip. On yesterday's post, the pictures were (from top to bottom), Josh with Max and Calvin in the Mediterranean, the lobby of our 17th century hotel in Castres, Quincy (with his rounded back diving technique) diving in for his individual butterfly race, Tabitha lining up with hundreds of kids at the swim meet, and the countryside around Castres (vineyards as far as the eye can see in this area).
Today's pictures are....
a video of Heidi, Max and Calvin trying out the Mediterranean for the first time...

looking down the beach at Valras Plage (Yes, on all beaches in France, it is acceptable to be "topless" - no wonder Quincy is so reluctant to leave this country - don't strain anything fellas, there is nothing to see in this photo)
