Unbelievably, we have accepted an offer on our house already!!! Wow, now that was fun. Much better than being on the desparate end of selling a house as we have done in the past. On Monday morning, the calls started rolling in about showing the house. After 7 different people went through it in 2 days, we got two offers yesterday. We accepted the 2nd of the 2 and now we are free of having to keep the house spotless and having to leave on a moment's notice! I love it! The poor kids have been so displaced these past few days, we had to go out to eat, see a movie and spend lots of time hiking in the local park just to get out of the house. Max and Quincy did have time over the weekend to set up a "Max's Mini-Zoo" full of all sorts of different insects that they collected in the woods and around the yard. Quincy also caught a small toad for Max which he just loves. He plays with it all the time and worries about it's upkeep. We are leaving today for 5 days at Notre Dame (our annual brain-washing session with the kids) so Max carefully took all of his "pets" over to the little boys next door and paid them each 50 cents out of his own pocket to take care of the bugs while we are gone.
