Back on My Bike

After catching up on some much needed sleep by sleeping in this morning, Josh and I went for a 40 minute bike ride around the city. This is the first time that I have been on my bike since my knee surgery 5 weeks ago. It felt pretty darn good! It was cold and a bit drizzly but we are certainly used to that around here. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet Sunday morning streets and getting a bit of exercise.

The rest of the day was just spent doing little chores around the house and being lazy. Tabitha spent the afternoon with a friend. They went to see the "Twilight" movie at the cinema. We did get a phone call from the chaperone of Quincy's skiing group, she was just letting everyone know that they were having a good time, had arrived safely on Saturday morning and were getting a good amount of snow for skiing. Max and I made a batch of homemade biscuits this afternoon so that we can have biscuits and gravy for breakfast in the morning. This was one of Grandpa's all time favorite meals so we will eat them in honor of him!

The kids are all off of school these next two weeks, so we are looking forward to just relaxing a bit.
