We had a wonderfully lazy Sunday! We needed this! Josh and I now appear to fighting off colds while Calvin is still not recovered from his. We used all of that as an excuse to just hang out at home and do virtually nothing. Tabitha spent the afternoon making crepes for the FĂȘte de la Chandeleur that takes place tomorrow. I will tell you more about that tomorrow. Josh and I did bundle up and go out for long walk. I have been dying to walk down to the port since my knee surgery and finally felt like my knee was in good enough shape to handle it. I held up pretty well although those uneven sidewalks and constant hills will probably leave me feeling pretty stiff and sore tomorrow. The skies were clear and the city was looking beautiful but it was cold!! One of truly cold days of the winter. The temperature hovered around 38 degrees but with a cold 20 mph wind blowing all day, it felt quite a bit colder. Here are some pictures from our walk...

I hope you all will enjoy watching the Super Bowl tonight. Even though we are far from being football fans, it is one occasion that we miss not have access to. I made a very American dinner tonight in honor of all the Americans we know that will be pigging out during the game. I made sloppy joes (from scratch - no Manwich here!). It has be the first time that we have had sloppy joes in more than a year and a half. Quincy was so excited that he ate 6!!!
