We just got back from our long weekend in the south of France. What a wonderful time! We could not get over how different everything looks from where we live. The architecture, the topography, the food, even the people. The Spanish and Italian influences are certainly much stronger down there whereas, we have strong British and Gaelic influences here. Very interesting... Anyway, today, we left Castres in the morning, meandered through the "pink city" of Toulouse for a bit before hitting the long (600 km) drive for home. The highway system is fantastic in France with very nice roads and a high speed limit but the tolls are expensive and the stand up urinals in both the men's and women's restrooms have got to go! Ughhh!!

I will just post a few pictures and a video of Tabitha swimming her freestyle relay... Too tired to do more tonight. After driving through Bordeaux and Cognac today, it only seems appropriate that I curl up with a glass of wine and get to bed early.

Great video!
Stand up urinals for women? You've got to explain that ... or, on second thought, maybe not.
