After school, I took Max to his gymnastics class where he continues to fly through the air and do anything and everything thrown at him. Today, he proved that he could jump from the ground (without a spring board) to the top of the vault (at least four feet high) and land on his feet. His teacher loved it.
After gymnastics, while Josh was with Calvin and Tabitha at their last track meet of the season and Quincy was at a friend's house, Max and I headed to the playground at the park.

We had a great time but I suddenly remembered why I have four children and not just one!! I rarely, rarely have to actually play when I am at the park, I can usually just sit quietly and read my book while the kids play with and entertain each other. Not today. With just Max, he wanted a playmate and that was me by default.

I am very happy to report however that I can still go all the way across the monkeybars without my feet touching the ground. That is truly murder on the hands, especially with wedding rings on!
