Leo just informed us that his birthday is actually today and not October 15 as was listed on his application packet. He really couldn't explain the descrepancy but told us that his mother told him that it really is today. So.... we ran out and bought him a gift and a Dairy Queen cake and then served his favorite meal (pizza) for dinner in honor of his birthday. He certainly seemed to enjoy the attention!
We hooked the bikes onto the back of my car today and headed out to a nearby park to enjoy this gorgeous day. We all rode a solid 7 miles on a very nice and somewhat hilly bike trail and had a great time. We saw plenty of butterflies, wild flowers and even a deer. Can't wait to do it again!
