We seem to be spending our days squeezing in as much laziness and fun activities as we can before school starts next week. Pool time, t.v. watching, game playing, bike riding, friend visiting, etc, etc. We are now physically ready for our exchange student to arrive and all school supplies have been bought. It's a good feeling! Today was incredibly hot and humid so even the high school soccer coaches took some pity on the kids and shortened their practices to 2 1/2 hours instead of 3 1/2. Max and I went to the free movie at the local theater this morning and saw "Where the Wild Things Are". Max really enjoyed it but it was certainly very different than the book. Seemed like some pretty adult concepts to me...
