It's the last Friday before school starts... School starts with Freshman Orientation for Tabitha on Monday morning, Exchange Student Orientation for Leo on Monday afternoon, all high school students regular schedule on Tuesday for Quincy, and all grade school students on Wednesday for Max and Calvin. Whew! Should be fun! Again, we are busy with playing and preparing. The kids have had so many friends over lately, we just seem to be on a social whirlwind. I have managed to get in some walks with my walking buddies too so we are having a good time. This morning, the lake was beautiful and the weather was finally less humid so I enjoyed a great walk.
Yesterday afternoon, I took one of Quincy's friends with me to work for 2 hours. He is a senior who is interested in physical therapy. He shadowed me to see what I do and asked some very intelligent and insightful questions. Hopefully he is able to pursue this and do what he wants in college. Last night, the city showed a free movie downtown in the parking lot of the square so the whole town was hanging out and just being together. Very fun. Calvin is feeling a little bit under the weather today and running a slight fever. Hopefully this goes away quickly and he can enjoy his weekend.
