As soon as I saw this gorgeous sunrise this morning, I knew that today was going to be a good one...
I discovered the incredibly genius invention called the "Paintstick" today. My friend, Cecilia, had told me about it, so while buying my paint to start on the living room today, I invested in this amazing device. Incredible! The paint is sucked up and held in the handle of the roller and then just comes out on the roller pad when you need it. No more pans, dripping paint, or bending over 1000 times.
I got my first coat of light purple applied to the living room walls and think that I like the color so far. I bit lighter than I usually choose, but I am reserving my judgement.
Have you ever eaten a fresh gingerbread house? Me either! We always make them and then always keep them around for decoration until they are too old and stale and all of the goodies have fallen off. Well, today, we made an exception to that rule and it was a delicious decision to make! Max stayed after school today for a special class at the local bakery. He and 18 other kids made their own gingerbread houses. I was one of the many parent chaperones. We had a great time and piled that house high with goodies. Yummy!
This afternoon, my picture enlargements for the dining room arrived. I could not be happier! I had discovered this website on the internet in my quest to have my pictures enlarged and printed on canvas. The end result is incredible! You will all have to see for yourself but here is a sneak peek.
I can't wait to get them hung up. Canvas4life will certainly be getting more business from me in the future.

I love those. We have so many beautiful pictures from our trip, that I am tempted too. By the way, we saw that sunrise too this morning. It was so incredible that I had to call Cliff.
