Josh was up at the crack of dawn this morning so that he and his friend, Hubert (from France), could drive the four hours up to Chicago for some sightseeing. They apparently had a great day with some perfect weather for views from the Sears Tower and are now back in the car, on their way back here.
Quincy had swim team practice this morning so that he and his team are ready for their first meet on Monday. After practice, the boys of the team all headed over to one boy's house to hang out for the afternoon, playing football and video games. While all of this was going on, Tabitha had three of her friends over to make a video for literature class. They had to demonstrate how to make a Civil War recipe. They chose to make pralines and after only two attempts and one run (by me) to Krogers for some additional ingredients, their pralines and their video turned out well. They ran into a little trouble using the software to try to edit the video though so they called Quincy to see if he could help. With the speed of lightning, Quincy was somehow back at home and eager to help the girls. Hmmmm.... he never seems that eager to help me when I need him...
Quincy is now at the final performance of "Little Shop of Horrors" and is anticipating a late night as they tear down the set. Tabitha went to the movies with a couple of friends so Max, Calvin and I ate pizza and watched "Zoro". Big Saturday night in Batesville!
