Photography

I got two thirds of my living room painted with second coat of paint today before I ran out of time and paint. I'm hoping to get it all finished tomorrow or the next day. I do like the color, however, and all of the kids love it!
I took a meal over to a very generous family today to do my part in their charity work. This family with two small children of their own have taken in a burned 12 year old girl from China. Wushuang arrived alone from China last week and will remain here for a year while she undergoes extensive surgeries and therapies to regain some quality of life. The road ahead for Wushuang will not be an easy one. I am in awe of the Cook family and their generosity toward this girl!

After school, I chaperoned the junior high Enrichment class with Max by my side. Today, the kids were instructed by a local professional photographer in photography techniques and editing software.

It was great fun for all of us! (Max had a ball just playing with my camera.) We are eager to put these good tips to use.
