Festival Time

I love the fall when all of the fall festivals are going on and you can easily run across apple dumplings, hot apple cider, homemade ice cream and elephant ears! After a day of non-stop soccer games yesterday, starting at 9 and not getting home until 4:30, we were ready for a more relaxed day today. Unfortunately, we didn't really get it. Calvin spent the night at a friend's house while Quincy had a couple of friends spend the night here. That meant a fairly early morning and then time to work our shift at our Parish festival. Quincy and Tabitha and I all had a shift to work and managed to do our part in making money for the parish. Josh, Leo, Calvin and Max joined us at the end of our shift so we could all eat lunch and roam the festival. We tried our hand at many of the raffles and games but didn't manage to win much of anything. Oh well. Josh and I did enjoy the festival beer garden last night though and managed to socialize with many of our good friends.
