Have I mentioned that there is a lot of soccer going on around here... Well, even though Calvin did not have practice tonight and we did not have a game to attend, Calvin and Josh still headed outside to kick the ball around in the yard. They can't get enough... The boys and I went to Quincy's game last night while Josh was working and Tabitha was at her own practice. Quincy's team lost terribly but to a team from a public school that is about 6 times as big as OA, so they didn't feel too bad about the loss. Leo and his doubles partner lost their tennis match the other night. Leo had a great time though because the team went out to the local Chinese restaurant after the match. This was Leo's first chance to sample our American Chinese cuisine. He was pleasantly surprised and treated like royalty by the Chinese staff. They even gave him a big jug of some "exotic" bean puree to bring home and drink. Leo was so excited to have this. We figured out however that it is just soy milk so we were not all that excited. Turns out that he loads it with sugar and loves to drink it. Well, who wouldn't like it with all of the added sugar!
I played a little more tennis last night and once again had a great time. I have been loving our gorgeous weather lately and really enjoying my morning walks with my friends again!
